Bertrandt Group in Sant'Agata Bolognese, Italy is seeking a Body & Comfort ECU Development Engineer to support development, integration and validation of electronic systems for premium automotive projects. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless vehicle integration and compliance with project requirements.
The role involves leading BCM/ECU development, defining system requirements for vehicle access, lighting, climate control, steering, mirrors, roof, and collaborating with
Lead the technical development and integration of Body Control Modules (BCM) and related ECUs. Define, analyze and manage system requirements for Vehicle Access Systems, Lighting Systems, Climate Control Systems, Steering Wheel Functions, Mirrors, Roof Systems and other Body & Comfort features. Coordinate with System Architecture, Integration and Validation teams throughout the development lifecycle. Support system design reviews, feasibility studies and benchmark analyses. Manage diagnostics strategies and vehicle communication networks including CAN, LIN, Ethernet. Support software integration, verification and issue resolution activities. Participate in prototype build phases, road testing activities and vehicle validation campaigns. Support homologation activities and ensure compliance with automotive regulations and standards. Track technical issues, risks and project milestones through Jira, Confluence and related engineering tools. Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure project delivery targets. Degree in Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related disciplines.
