Primary accountability is to develop the most appropriate IT solutions in line with the solution design, to meet customer needs, ensuring continuous improvement with responsibility to write the unit & integration tests performed by Test Engineers.

What you need to have to succeed in this role
- Strong Avaloq Development Background.
- Strong understanding of Private Banking Domain/Investment Banking/Capital Markets.
- Hands-on experience working with Avaloq (or comparable core banking / investment banking platforms).
- Strong scripting capability, including PL/SQL.
- Ability to understand user requirements and provide solutions using Avaloq Parameterization along with Unix and shell scripts, Control-M.
- Strong analysis, solution design, coding, debugging and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Experience across the delivery lifecycle: development, testing, handling change requests and supporting release execution. Comfortable working in Agile and DevOps ways of working.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, including stakeholder-facing presentations when needed.
- A growth mindset: proactive in learning new tools and technologies and adapting quickly to change.
