Summary
AWS Architect engaged through IT consultancy FinXL, deployed to a leading banking client in Sydney CBD on a 12-month contract. Day to day: designing end-to-end AWS cloud solutions (SaaS/IaaS/PaaS), data-heavy pipelines and API-first products, automating processes, and communicating architecture to stakeholders. Hybrid: 3 days/week in the office.
Salary: Up to $180k inc super p.a. or $1000 inc super p.d.

FinXL is seeking an AWS Architect to join our consulting team and be deployed with a leading Banking client on a 12 months contract in Sydney CBD.
Responsibilities
- Build and design end to end solutions on AWS cloud offerings
- Collaborate actively with engineering teams to prototype solutions and validate architecture decisions
- Automate technical processes and drive business solutions with a focus on bank-wide reference architecture
- Engage diligently with stakeholders at all levels to communicate architectural vision and direction
Key Skills & Experience
- Extensive background as a hands-on Architect with 8+ years of experience
- Proven experience designing and solutioning data-heavy pipelines and cloud-native, API-first products
- Strong experience designing AWS solutions leveraging a mix of SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS cloud offerings
- Deep knowledge of solution and data architecture frameworks, modelling tools, and data security
- Solid understanding of big data products, data pipelines, and API interaction with social channels
- Excellent business acumen with the ability to manage requirements across diverse project teams
Engagement Details
- 12 months contract with a Banking client
- Hybrid working model with 3 days/ week in the office in Sydney CBD
