Contract AWS Cloud Developer placed by recruiter Recruitment Hive with a Federal Government client: building secure, scalable AWS applications (Lambda, EC2, S3, DynamoDB/RDS) using JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks like React, Vue, Nest.js/Next.js/Nuxt.js. 8-month contract with extensions, NV1 security clearance required, hybrid WFH across ACT, QLD, VIC, NSW, SA.
Salary: $135 - $155 per hour (inc super)

Our client, a Federal Government entity is seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer.
About the role - AWS Cloud Engineer
Work flexibly as part of a team and independently, across a range of projects at the same time and across geographic areas (offices).
Duties - AWS Cloud Engineer
- Provide scope and sizing of work for inclusion in sprint cycles, design and develop solutions to operational problems and issues.
- Manage and resolve defects as part of the standard development process, manage and own assigned tickets through to completion.
- Develop technical documentation to capture solution design and configuration
Skills / Experience - AWS Cloud Engineer
- Demonstrated experience developing secure, scalable AWS applications, including Lambda, EC2 and S3, database technologies such as DynamoDB or RDS and cloud security controls.
- Proficiency in modern software development practices and technologies, including JavaScript or TypeScript, contemporary application frameworks such as React, Vue, Nest.js, Next.js or Nuxt.js, Python, and Git-based version control.
- Ability to deliver effectively in a multidisciplinary Agile team, including estimating work, resolving defects, completing assigned tasks, communicating technical solutions clearly
