Detailed Job Description

As an AWS Delivery Specialist supporting Maxis on an on-site basis in Malaysia, you will take full operational, tactical, and technical ownership of cloud environment creation from scratch, customer requirement analysis, stakeholder management, and DevOps automation. Your day-to-day responsibilities include provisioning foundational AWS cloud infrastructure, configuring Kubernetes clusters, designing CI/CD pipelines, authoring infrastructure-as-code (IaC) templates, conducting client workshops, managing technical escalations, collaborating with cross-functional engineering squads, and interacting directly with cloud recruitment specialists like Adli Hafizi.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, design, provision, and deploy robust multi-tier AWS cloud environments from scratch adhering to enterprise security baselines.
• Lead direct technical discussions, discovery workshops, and solution presentations with enterprise customers, stakeholders, and external partners.
• Deploy, scale, and manage containerized application workloads utilizing Kubernetes orchestration clusters across cloud environments.
• Build, configure, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines, release management workflows, and infrastructure automation scripts.
• Author, maintain, and execute infrastructure-as-code (IaC) templates utilizing Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
• Collaborate seamlessly with cloud architects, software development squads, and security compliance officers during agile delivery sprints.
• Provide expert technical guidance on cloud migration strategies, cost optimization, and high-availability architecture best practices.
• Maintain meticulous technical documentation, cloud deployment runbooks, architecture topologies, and customer engagement logs.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cloud Computing, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 5+ years of progressive professional hands-on experience in AWS cloud engineering, infrastructure deployment, and systems delivery.
• Strong, demonstrable operational expertise in deploying comprehensive AWS cloud environments from scratch (VPC, IAM, EC2, S3, RDS).
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with proven experience handling enterprise customers and senior stakeholders.
• Positive, collaborative attitude with a strong team-player mindset and client-first orientation.
• Solid practical grasp of cloud security principles, networking fundamentals, and operational reliability frameworks.
• Exceptional analytical problem-solving aptitude, technical troubleshooting capabilities, and professional stakeholder communication skills.
• Mandatory legal work authorization and physical availability for professional operations in Malaysia.
