AWS Glue Data Engineer

Summary

Build and optimize AWS Glue ETL pipelines to ingest, transform, and deliver data for analytics using Python/PySpark and AWS services like S3, Redshift, and Athena.

We are seeking experienced Data Engineers to build and optimize scalable data pipelines on AWS. You will develop ETL processes, integrate multiple data sources, and ensure high-quality data delivery for analytics and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain AWS Glue ETL pipelines.

Build scalable data ingestion and transformation workflows.

Develop and optimize data pipelines for structured and unstructured data.

Perform data validation and quality checks.

Troubleshoot ETL failures and performance issues.

Work closely with Data Modelers and Business Analysts.

Implement best practices for cloud-based data engineering.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.

5+ years of Data Engineering experience.

Strong experience with AWS Glue.

Experience building enterprise data pipelines.

Experience with Python or PySpark.

Familiarity with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, IAM, Athena, Redshift, or EMR.

Knowledge of CI/CD is an advantage.

Background in telecommunication industry is preferred.
