Designs and builds scalable ETL pipelines for a data warehouse using AWS Redshift, Python/R, and Kimball methodology to support ML models and real-time analytics.
Data Engineer Position
We are currently searching for a Data Engineer who will be responsible for driving, designing, and building scalable ETL systems for a big data warehouse. This role will implement robust and trustworthy data to support high performing machine learning algorithms, predictive models, and support real-time data visualization requirements across the organization to enable self-help analytics.
Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing data warehouses according to the Kimball methodology.
- Adept at design and development of ETL processes.
- SQL development experience, preferably with SAS Data Studio and AWS.
- The ability to ingest/output CSV, JSON, and other flat file types and any related data sources.
- Proficient in Python or R, or willingness to learn.
- Experience within Retail, Financial Services, and Logistics environments.
Minimum Requirements:
- 5 to 8 years of experience and understanding in the relevant fields.
