Azure Cloud Engineer
About the role
You are a hands-on builder and mover for Azure. Your main job is to take an architect's blueprint, write the code (Terraform) to build the Azure environment, move physical/on-premise servers into Azure, and make sure everything runs smoothly afterward.
Key responsibilities
Deploy Azure networking, VMs, storage, and security using Terraform and scripts
Move company applications and data from local servers into Azure during planned migration waves
Write code to handle repetitive deployment and maintenance tasks so things run faster and with fewer errors
Keep the cloud secure, monitor performance, apply patches, and troubleshoot issues when things break
Partner with architects, security teams, and app developers to plan and execute projects
About you
4–8 years in IT or cloud engineering
Strong hands-on skills in Azure (AZ-104 level), Terraform, and scripting (PowerShell/Azure CLI)
Solid grasp of networking, VMs, security (Entra ID/RBAC), and migration steps
AZ-104 certification or Terraform certifications (plus points)
