Azure Data Engineer: Data Science & Big Data Innovator

NTT DATA Europe & Latam is seeking an Azure Data Engineer to bridge Data Science and Data Engineering in a cloud-native setting. You will work with business analysts and solution architects on use cases, data needs, and outcomes, delivering data pipelines for analytics and ML models.

The role emphasizes expertise in Azure, Spark/Databricks, and ETL/ELT tools, with a focus on scalable data lakes, data quality, and continuous improvement in a multinational environment.

Support customers in Big Data projects, collaborating with analysts and solution architects. Deliver data acquisition, transformations, cleansing, conversion and loading into data lakes. Prepare data for analytics and machine learning models. 5+ years in cloud-native environments across public clouds, Azure preferred. Experience with Big Data architectures, cloud and on premise. Azure infrastructure and networking experience. Proven ability to deliver proofs-of-concept addressing business needs. Experience migrating workloads from on premise to cloud. Experience monitoring distributed infra with Azure tools or Grafana/Prometheus. Proven experience in Java, Scala, Python, and shell scripting. SQL knowledge. Experience with Agile Methodology and Kanban. Experience leading medium teams. Experience with Apache Spark, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and other Azure ETL/ELT tools. Microsoft Certification: Azure Data Engineer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
