Job Description:

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer with a strong background in Java or C# software development to design, build, and maintain scalable cloud-based data solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Azure data services, ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehousing, and cloud-native application development. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data platforms that support analytics, reporting, and business-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Databricks, and Azure Data Lake.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT frameworks for processing large-scale structured and unstructured data.
• Develop reusable components and services using Java or C#/.NET.
• Work with Azure services such as Blob Storage, Azure Functions, Event Hub, Synapse Analytics, and Key Vault.
• Implement data integration solutions across multiple enterprise systems.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate deployments using Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Optimize data processing performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Ensure data quality, governance, security, and compliance standards are met.
• Participate in design reviews, code reviews, troubleshooting, and production support activities.

Development

• Strong programming experience in Java or C#/.NET
• Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts
• REST APIs and Microservices architecture
• SQL and data modeling

DevOps & Cloud

• Azure DevOps
• CI/CD Pipelines
• Git
• Docker and Kubernetes (preferred)

Databases

• SQL Server, Azure SQL Database
• NoSQL databases such as Cosmos DB or MongoDB (preferred)
