Key Responsibilities

• CI/CD Pipeline Management: Design, construct, and maintain scalable continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms to ensure frictionless code releases.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Provision, configure, and manage scalable enterprise cloud infrastructure and servers programmatically using Terraform.
• Security & Compliance (DevSecOps): Embed security into every stage of the SDLC by integrating automated security testing (SAST/DAST), vulnerability management, secret management, and strict identity and access controls (IAM).
• Cloud Architecture & Management: Manage, optimize, and maintain secure, highly available cloud environments on Microsoft Azure.
• Database Automation & Zero-Downtime Releases: Implement and manage automated database schema updates and version control without causing service downtime using tools like Alembic (Python).
• Scripting & Automation: Automate routine operational tasks, infrastructure provisioning, and integration workflows using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Observability, Monitoring & Logging: Monitor system health, performance, and availability; set up actionable alerting; and proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Version Control & Repository Hygiene: Establish and enforce best-practice Git workflows, branching strategies, code review processes, and repository governance.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Cloud Expertise: Strong hands-on experience deploying and managing cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
• CI/CD Proficiency: Demonstrated experience setting up and optimizing pipelines in Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Infrastructure as Code: Proficiency with Terraform for declarative infrastructure management.
• DevSecOps Mindset: Practical experience incorporating security scanning, vulnerability tools, and compliance checks into automated deployment workflows.
• Scripting Skills: Strong coding/scripting capability in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Database Management: Solid understanding of database schema version control and zero-downtime database migration practices (e.g., using Alembic).
• Git Mastery: Advanced expertise with Git, repository administration, branch protection rules, and merge strategies.
• Monitoring & Diagnostics: Experience with cloud monitoring, APM tools, log aggregation, and troubleshooting distributed applications.
