Azure DevOps Engineer (Medior/Senior)

We are looking for an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to build and improve the platforms, pipelines and infrastructure behind our cloud solutions. You will help development teams deliver faster and more reliably on Microsoft Azure. As more of our projects include AI capabilities, you’ll also help shape how AI-enabled applications are deployed, secured and monitored, so this role is a great opportunity to grow into that space.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions

• Provision and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Bicep or Terraform)

• Manage and optimise Azure environments: App Service, Functions, Container Apps, AKS, networking and storage

• Implement security and compliance practices: Entra ID, managed identities, Key Vault, RBAC and policy

• Set up monitoring, logging and alerting with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics and Application Insights

• Support release management, environment strategy and branching practices

• Automate operational tasks and improve developer experience

• Support the deployment of AI-enabled applications (e.g. Azure OpenAI or Azure AI Foundry resources), including configuration, access control and cost monitoring

• Explore how AI tools such as GitHub Copilot can improve team productivity and automation

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering or a related role, with at least 2–3 years on Microsoft Azure

• Strong experience with Azure DevOps (Pipelines, Repos, Boards) and/or GitHub Actions

• Hands-on experience with Bicep or Terraform

• Good knowledge of Azure networking, identity and security fundamentals

• Experience with containers (Docker) and container platforms (Azure Container Apps or AKS)

• Scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash or Python

• Good communication skills and comfort working with development teams and clients

• Fluent English (Portuguese is a plus)

Nice to Have

• Some exposure to deploying or operating AI services on Azure (Azure OpenAI, AI Foundry), or curiosity to learn

• Awareness of MLOps/LLMOps concepts such as model versioning, prompt management or evaluation pipelines

• Experience with FinOps and cloud cost optimisation

• Observability tools beyond Azure (e.g. Grafana, Prometheus)

• Microsoft certifications such as AZ-400, AZ-104 or AZ-305
