Back-End Engineer (Java/.NET) — Global, Flexible Work

Amaris Consulting in Torino seeks a Back-End Developer with 2–5 years of experience in Java or .NET to design, develop and maintain scalable APIs and services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in an international setting, contributing to robust software architectures and agile processes.

The role requires strong SQL, Git, and containerized deployment knowledge, plus English fluency; Catalan/Portuguese is a plus.

Design, develop and maintain scalable back-end applications. Develop and maintain REST APIs and integrate with systems. Write clean, maintainable code following standards. Work with relational and NoSQL databases as needed. Collaborate with front-end, BA, QA and others. Participate in code reviews, testing and refactoring. Contribute to scalable and secure software architectures. Engage in Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning and Daily Standups. 2–5 years of back-end development experience. Strong Java/Spring Boot or .NET/.NET Core knowledge. Experience designing REST APIs and integrating services. Good relational database and SQL skills. Git and software development best practices.
