Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain the systems that power modern applications
- Build scalable APIs and backend services that support seamless user experiences
- Optimise application performance, reliability, and security
- Collaborate with Frontend Developers, Product Owners, and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions
- Design efficient database structures and data flows
- Troubleshoot complex issues and drive continuous system improvements
- Contribute to architectural decisions and best engineering practices
- Ensure backend systems are built to scale as products and users grow
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Minimum 3+ years of Backend Development experience
- Strong proficiency in Java, C#, Python, Node.js, Go, or similar backend technologies
- Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices
- Solid understanding of databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, or DynamoDB
- Experience working within cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, or containerisation technologies
- Understanding of system performance, scalability, and security best practices
- Experience working in Agile development environment
