Backend Developer (Golang)
Summary
Build and maintain scalable backend services in Go, designing clean APIs and distributed systems for an HR tech platform.
As a Backend Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Golang. You will build reliable APIs and distributed systems, write clean and maintainable code, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Golang.
- Write clean, well-structured, and maintainable code following software engineering best practices.
- Apply Clean Code and Clean Architecture principles to build scalable and testable applications.
- Develop concurrent and high-performance applications using Go's goroutines and channels.
- Integrate and optimize data storage solutions, caching, and messaging systems.
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Debug, profile, and optimize application performance.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices.
- Collaborate with product managers, frontend developers, and QA engineers throughout the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree, Diploma, or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with Golang through professional work, internships, coursework, or personal projects.
- Strong understanding of software development fundamentals and RESTful API development.
- Ability to write clean, readable, and maintainable code.
- Familiarity with Git and collaborative software development workflows.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Good understanding and practical application of Clean Code and Clean Architecture principles.
- Experience building concurrent applications using goroutines, channels, and Go concurrency patterns.
- Familiarity with Redis for caching and performance optimization.
- Experience with message brokers such as RabbitMQ for asynchronous and event-driven systems.
- Experience working with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
