Backend Developer (Golang)

Build and maintain scalable backend services in Go, designing RESTful APIs and microservices while optimizing performance and reliability.
Job Desk
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services using Golang.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices to support business requirements.
- Develop clean, efficient, and maintainable code following software engineering best practices and coding standards.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Frontend Engineers, QA Engineers, and DevOps teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability through continuous improvement and performance tuning.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues while ensuring system stability.
- Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and data processing to improve application performance.
- Write unit tests and participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality.
- Work with version control, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes to support continuous delivery.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for developed features, APIs, and system architecture.
- Stay updated with the latest Golang ecosystem, backend technologies, and industry best practices.
Qualification
- Minimum education: SMK or equivalent.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Minimum 3 years of experience developing backend applications using Golang.
- Strong understanding of Golang fundamentals, concurrency (goroutines & channels), and Go modules.
- Experience building RESTful APIs and/or Microservices.
- Familiar with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Experience using Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Familiar with Docker and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
- Understanding of Redis, gRPC, Kafka/RabbitMQ, or other messaging systems is an advantage.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in an Agile development environment.
