Backend Developer (Healthcare or Insurance) | Immediate / 2-Week Joiner

Location: Philippines - Salcedo, MAKATI

Work Schedule: Hybrid (3x onsite, 2x WFH/week)

Type of Employment: Contractual (6 month-initial contract, possible absorption/extension depending on performance)

Salary: 60K - 110K

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• At least 5 years of software development experience.

• MUST have experience in Java and projects related to healthcare or insurance.

• Exposure to SQL/PLSQL, REST/SOAP APIs, XML, Git or similar technologies.

• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C#, JavaScript..)

• Experience integrating Oracle products with Oracle Fusion, OHI, portals, and other enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications

• Lead technical design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code

• Review code and mentor junior and mid-level developers

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions

• Identify performance bottlenecks and improve system reliability and scalability

• Ensure best practices in security, testing, and CI/CD pipelines

• Participate in sprint planning, estimations, and retrospectives
