This pivotal role focuses on creating high-performance, scalable microservices and RESTful APIs using Java and the Spring Boot framework. The ideal candidate will drive architectural decisions, ensure data integrity through advanced database interactions, and implement secure, event-driven systems. Responsibilities:
- Architect and sustain backend services utilizing Java and Spring Boot technologies.
- Engineer scalable RESTful APIs and microservice architectures to support business growth.
- Manage data persistence and retrieval by leveraging Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, and relational database systems.
- Facilitate seamless connectivity with external third-party APIs and integrated services.
- Construct event-driven processing pipelines using Apache Kafka and enhance system speed with Redis caching strategies.
- Enforce rigorous security protocols through Spring Security, JWT, and OAuth2 standards.
- Produce comprehensive unit and integration tests while actively engaging in peer code reviews.
- Diagnose and resolve production-level incidents while optimizing application performance and scalability.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications within Docker and Kubernetes environments, supported by AWS cloud services and CI/CD pipelines.
