Summary
Builds and maintains the server-side core of Jobberman's web applications: designing and implementing server-side logic, databases, and APIs, plus security controls. Day to day involves writing backend code, optimizing queries, building REST/GraphQL APIs, debugging performance issues, and collaborating with frontend and product teams.

Responsible for designing and implementing server-side logic, databases, and APIs, this position ensures high performance, data integrity, and seamless integration with frontend systems. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development of scalable, secure, and efficient backend solutions that support the platform’s growth and reliability. This role is essential for enabling smooth user experiences and supporting long-term product evolution.
Responsibilities:
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable server-side code using modern backend programming languages and frameworks.
• Design, implement, and optimize database schemas and queries to ensure reliable data storage and retrieval.
• Build and integrate robust RESTful or GraphQL APIs to connect backend services with user-facing interfaces.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application errors to optimize platform speed and scalability.
• Implement fundamental security measures, including user authentication, data encryption, and access controls.
• Collaborate with frontend developers and product teams to translate technical requirements into functional code.
