Backend Developer

A creative digital experience platform is seeking a Mid-Senior Backend Developer to design and maintain backend services and APIs. The ideal candidate will have over 4 years of experience in backend development, strong proficiency in Node.js or Go, and experience with cloud platforms. The role allows hybrid or fully remote work in Milan, fostering a collaborative environment with product managers and engineers. Design, build and maintain backend services and APIs (REST, GraphQL). Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, QA and DevOps. Ensure backend is performant, reliable, secure and scalable. Contribute to architectural decisions: microservices and cloud-native. 4+ years experience in backend development in production environments. Strong proficiency with Node.js (or Go) and TypeScript. Experience with relational (PostgreSQL) and non-relational (MongoDB, Redis) databases. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes). Strong communication skills in English; Italian is a plus.
