Summary
Builds and maintains scalable, high-performance backend services for banking and payment platforms using Node.js and Java, including ETL/data engineering, SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB), REST and GraphQL APIs, and messaging platforms like Kafka/RabbitMQ in a fintech environment.
We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer to help build and enhance scalable, high-performance banking and payment platforms. Requirements
- 5+ years of backend development experience
- Strong expertise in Node.js and Java
- Experience with data engineering, ETL processes, and database optimization
- Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and GraphQL
- Familiarity with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging platforms
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js and Java
- Design and implement robust data engineering and ETL solutions
- Build scalable, secure, and reliable systems aligned with banking standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate backend services and APIs
- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Troubleshoot and optimize application performance and scalability
