Backend Developer (Node.js)

Backend developer building reliable APIs and scalable infrastructure in Node.js (NestJS/Express) with PostgreSQL and Redis for Weybridge Ventures' startup platforms DriveLEAD and FitLEAD, working on everything from onboarding flows to AI automation at their UAE-based product team.
We’re looking for a backend developer to help build reliable APIs and scalable infrastructure across our DriveLEAD and FitLEAD platforms.
We're looking for a solid backend engineer to join our core team and help us build clean, reliable systems powering everything from onboarding flows to AI automation.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain backend services using Node.js (NestJS, Express)
- Design and implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs
- Collaborate with frontend, product, and QA to ship features
- Optimize performance and scalability across services
- Write clean, tested code and contribute to architecture decisions
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in backend development (Node.js preferred)
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, or similar data stores
- Solid understanding of API security and authentication (JWT, OAuth)
- Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker)
Bonus:
- Experience with message queues (e.g. BullMQ, RabbitMQ)
- Experience integrating third-party APIs (Meta, Stripe, etc.)
