What you'll do
As a Backend Engineer, you’ll play a key role in shaping our backend systems and enabling seamless features that make complex processes effortless. Here's what you’ll be doing:
- Design and build scalable backend solutions that keep our platform running smoothly
- Improve and optimize core features like authorization and routing
- Contribute to architectural decisions that shape our platform's future
- Review code and mentor other developers
- Keep our systems robust while we scale to serve even more users
- Think along about new features and improvements based on user feedback
Technical Stack
- Backend: PHP (Symfony), Docker
- Mobile: Ionic and Capacitor with Cordova
- Version control: GitLab monorepo with CI/CD
- Cloud: Kubernetes, Scaleway as our provider
What you need
- You know what it takes to build a solid product
- You can inspire peers, as well as other technical and non‑tech stakeholders
- You know your way around PHP (Symfony), Docker, Kubernetes, and Gitlab
- Ownership and initiative come naturally to you – you’re on it, always
- You set systems up from scratch and embrace a ‘build it, run it, love it’ mindset
- You are a passionate and pragmatic problem‑solver: no puzzle is too complex!
