Summary
Mid/senior backend developer building and maintaining Node.js/NestJS services and scalable REST APIs for web and mobile apps at TESS SDN BHD in Kuala Lumpur, including performance tuning, security practices, and database schema work with MariaDB and PostgreSQL.
Backend Developer (Node.js / NestJS) at Mid / Senior level.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js and NestJS.
Build robust and scalable APIs for web and mobile applications.
Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and product teams.
Optimize performance, implement security best practices, and troubleshoot issues.
Participate in database schema design and migrations (MariaDB & PostgreSQL).
Requirements:
Proficiency in Node.js and NestJS frameworks.
Strong understanding of REST APIs and backend architecture.
Experience with MariaDB or PostgreSQL (or similar relational DBs).
Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
