Backend Engineer, Data Infrastructure - Platform
Summary
The Backend Engineer will design and maintain core big data platform products, including scheduling and data management systems, using Java, Python, or Go. The role focuses on building scalable, high-quality backend infrastructure to support massive-scale business operations.
- Participate in the design, development, and maintenance of core products within the big data ecosystem, including:RAM, DataMap, DataStudio, Scheduler System, Data Dashboard, etc.
- Write high-quality, efficient, scalable, and maintainable backend code.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and QA to deliver robust, production-ready features.
- Continuously improve system performance, reliability, and developer experience.
- Take part in system architecture design and product roadmap discussions, contribute to the long-term technical evolution and big picture of our products.
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
- Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, including: data structures & algorithms, operating systems, networking, distributed systems.
- Proficient in at least one backend programming language: Java, Python, or Go.
- Familiar with relational databases (e.g., MySQL) and middleware technologies (e.g., Redis, Kafka).
- Understanding of protocol, RESTful API design, and microservice architecture.
- Internship or project experience related to: backend system development, big data infrastructure.
- Familiarity with big data technologies, such as: Hadoop, Spark, Flink, Presto, StarRocks etc.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in large-scale systems.
- Proficiency in Java, and hands-on experience with: Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, MySQL, Redis, Kafka.
- Contributions to open-source projects or technical blogs.
