Backend Engineer for Global Sports Data & APIs

Hudl is hiring a Software Engineer for our data API team in Chiavari. You will design scalable APIs, build data services, and treat the API as a product—versioned, documented, reliable, and easy to build on.

You’ll join a senior team focused on backend-heavy, data-driven systems that serve multiple products and sports. You will work with cross-functional engineers, QA, product managers, and designers to turn Hudl's data into tools used by the best in sport.

Build the data API as a product. Design and ship APIs, GraphQL schemas and the services behind them. Define contracts other teams and customers depend on. Iterate rapidly and deploy changes frequently. Collaborate across disciplines and teams. Own backend-heavy work end to end from data model to production. Three or more years of engineering experience in backend-heavy or data-heavy environments. Experience designing APIs, GraphQL schemas or data pipelines with reliable interfaces.
