What you'll do
- Build and maintain production backend applications in Golang or Python
- Design scalable APIs and well-tuned databases
- Troubleshoot and optimise production systems
- Work on AI projects and use AI tools to code faster
What we're looking for
- 5+ years as a Software / Backend Developer
- Strong Golang or Python, with production experience
- Deep SQL knowledge: design, optimisation and performance tuning
- Solid grasp of software architecture, API development and best practices
- Hands-on experience with an AI project
- Comfortable using AI tools (Copilot, Claude, Cursor)
- Independent and collaborative, with strong troubleshooting skills
Nice to have
- Cloud experience (AWS or GCP)
