Backend Engineer II - MoneyLion
You'll join the Kuala Lumpur engineering team to help build and refine the microservices and RESTful APIs that power MoneyLion's consumer financial products. You'll develop innovative features for the fintech space, contribute to architecting and implementing an event-driven system, and work with enterprise-level CI/CD best practices. You'll bring your experience with Java or another OOP language, relational and non-relational databases, and containerized applications to a fast-moving team that blends software craftsmanship with a mission to revolutionize financial services.
Responsibilities

- Participate in architecting and implementing event-driven architecture
- Work with industry standards of CI/CD best practices at enterprise level
Requirements
- Experienced in Java, or any other OOP languages such as C#.NET, JavaScript, or PHP
- Experienced in any relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MSSQL
- Experienced in non-relational databases such as MongoDB, DocumentDB, or CosmosDB
- Experienced in web APIs of reasonable complexity
- Familiar with containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
- Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- At least 2+ years of experience building and developing software preferred
