Backend Engineer III - Growth & Payments Platform (Hybrid)

Satispay is seeking a Software Engineer III, Backend in the Consumer Growth Team to shape the future of digital payments. You will own the end-to-end lifecycle from technical design to production release, building scalable features that drive user growth and reduce friction for millions of users.

You will work on activation, trust, engagement, and monetisation features, leveraging a modern AWS-based stack and AI-assisted tooling to speed up delivery and documentation.

Own the Story Lifecycle from design to production release. Build high-reliability systems for onboarding, document verification, and security flows. Develop core backend services for shop discovery and personalised journeys. Contribute to loyalty, monetisation features, and subscriptions. Maintain code quality through documentation and incident resolution. Collaborate with Product and stakeholders to align with roadmap. Minimum 3 years of experience as a Backend Engineer. Strong experience building and maintaining scalable microservices. Solid expertise in Java and Spring Boot; good knowledge of PostgreSQL and cloud environments (AWS).
