  • Build and maintain backend microservices, server‑side logic, and integration components.
  • Implement APIs (REST + GraphQL) and service endpoints consumed by web, mobile, kiosks, SaaS platforms and internal tools.
  • Optimize performance, scalability, and cost efficiency of backend workloads.

Systems Integration & Data Flow

  • Implement integrations with enterprise systems, vendor platforms, and external APIs.
  • Work closely with Data & Analytics to event‑driven flows / stream processing
  • Ensure data quality, structured logging, and proper error handling across systems.

Quality, Security & Release Governance

  • Write clean, testable, maintainable backend code with strong coverage.
  • Partner with QA for scenario creation, automation support, and defect resolution.
  • Enforce secure coding, input validation, and API security standards (OAuth2/OIDC, token management, etc.).
  • Support deployment pipelines, environment management, and production releases.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Participate in design discussions, system sizing, and architectural planning.
  • Contribute to documentation, engineering playbooks, and API specifications.
  • Recommend improvements to backend frameworks, tooling, architecture, and integration patterns.
  • Stay updated with backend and cloud‑native trends relevant to DPP delivery.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related fields
  • 3–6+ years of hands‑on backend development experience (APIs, microservices, systems integration)
  • Proven track record delivering production‑grade services in high‑availability environments
  • Experience working in agile, cross‑functional technology teams
  • Exposure to CRM, MarTech, loyalty systems, or integrated resort operations is an advantage
  • Strong proficiency in backend development (Node.js, Python, Java, Go — depending on IT environment)
  • Skilled in designing and implementing APIs using REST and GraphQL
  • Experience integrating with enterprise systems or external platforms
  • Familiarity with cloud‑native environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) and CI/CD pipelines
  • Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, caching, distributed systems and data platforms (Snowflake, DataBricks)
  • Understanding of message queues, event‑driven patterns, or webhook‑based integrations
  • Strong debugging skills and ability to resolve complex backend issues
  • Awareness of secure coding practices, API authentication/authorization, and data privacy
