We are looking for an experienced Backend Engineer to develop scalable backend services and APIs using Python. This role focuses on platform engineering, system design, and building secure, high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain backend services using Python.

  • Design and build RESTful APIs and integrations.

  • Contribute to scalable platform and system architecture.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver backend solutions.

  • Optimize application performance, security, and reliability.

  • Participate in code reviews and follow engineering best practices.

  • 5–10+ years of backend development experience.

  • Strong Python development skills.

  • Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and OpenAPI.

  • Solid understanding of system design and distributed applications.

  • Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and AWS, Azure, or GCP.

  • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in financial services or fintech.

  • Knowledge of microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes.

  • Familiarity with security and high-availability systems.
