Overview

We are seeking a Data Platform Engineer with experience building scalable backend services and cloud-based data platforms. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in Python, FastAPI, Snowflake, and modern data engineering practices.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop backend services, APIs, and data applications.

  • Build Snowflake-native solutions using Snowpark, Tasks, Streams, and Stored Procedures.

  • Develop and maintain REST APIs with FastAPI.

  • Write and optimize SQL queries for analytics and reporting.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable solutions.

  • Support CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments, and cloud infrastructure.

  • 5–7 years of software or data platform engineering experience.

  • Strong Python, FastAPI, SQL, and Snowflake expertise.

  • Experience with microservices, Docker, Git, and CI/CD.

  • Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

  • Fintech or financial services experience is an asset.
