What You’ll Do
- Design, build, and maintain backend services that power our POS and payments platform
- Develop scalable APIs and systems that handle high-volume, real‑time transactions
- Contribute to system architecture and make decisions on technologies and design patterns
- Write clean, maintainable code with strong testing practices (unit, integration, performance)
- Monitor and improve system performance, reliability, and scalability
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long‑term fixes
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver features end‑to‑end
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in backend software development
- Strong proficiency in at least one backend language (Node.js, Go, or Python)
- Experience designing and building scalable APIs and backend systems
- Solid understanding of databases (relational and/or NoSQL)
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern development practices
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to debug complex issues
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, agile environment
