Backend Engineer
Summary
Builds and maintains Java or C#/.NET backend services, GraphQL APIs, Kafka integrations, and microservices with SQL, MongoDB, and Redis in a retail-focused product company.
Responsibilities
- Develop backend services using Java or C# / .NET
- Design and implement GraphQL APIs
- Build Kafka-based event-driven integrations
- Work with SQL and MongoDB data services
- Implement Redis caching strategies
- Support microservices architecture and system performance
- Participate in architecture and technical design discussions
Requirements
- 5–7 years of backend engineering experience
- Strong backend development with Java or C# / .NET
- Hands-on experience with GraphQL, Kafka, SQL, MongoDB, and Redis
- Experience supporting microservices environments
- Agile delivery experience
- Advanced English
Preferred Qualifications
- Distributed systems architecture experience
- AWS or Azure exposure
- Docker and Kubernetes experience
- Experience with high-traffic production systems
- Retail or digital commerce platform exposure
