BackEnd Java Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze Java application source code to identify design improvements and technical risks.
• Review application architecture, APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Improve application scalability, resiliency, maintainability, and performance.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Security, Architecture, and Product teams.
• Identify and prioritize technical debt remediation initiatives.
• Promote secure coding practices and Security-by-Design principles.
• Participate in solution design and architecture reviews.
• Support cloud modernization and platform transformation initiatives.
• Create technical documentation, design standards, and engineering playbooks.
• Evaluate new technologies, frameworks, and architectural patterns.
• Support CI/CD, DevOps, and software delivery best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred).
• Strong Java development experience.
• Experience with REST APIs and Microservices.
• Experience with distributed systems.
• Knowledge of cloud-native applications.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles.
• Experience reviewing application architecture and source code.
• Knowledge of secure software development.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
