Backend Java Engineer – Financial Systems

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Framework/Suite

• Experience with OpenShift / Containers for application deployment

• Hands-on with IBM MQ and IBM WebSphere (WAS)

• Expertise in DB2, RDBMS, and SQL

• Proficient in Linux / Unix environments

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

• Strong experience with SOAP & REST APIs

• Solid understanding of batch processing and backend system integration

Preferred / Nice to Have:

• Experience with Automation & Configuration Management tools

• Exposure to Apache Kafka

• Familiarity with API management tools

• Knowledge of IBM FTM / Payment Processing Systems
