Backend Java Junior

We are looking for a Junior Java Backend Developer to join an agile development team focused on building and enhancing scalable software solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance backend applications using Java Spring and modern development frameworks.
• Contribute to the implementation of microservices-based architectures that support scalable and resilient applications.
• Execute assigned development tasks with increasing autonomy while following coding standards and best practices.
• Analyse and troubleshoot technical issues, identifying recurring patterns and proposing effective solutions.
• Collaborate closely with team members to improve software components, processes, and overall product quality.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Support knowledge-sharing initiatives and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality, performance, and business requirements.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Java Spring.
• Good understanding of software development principles and backend application design.
• Familiarity with Microservices Architecture.
• Experience working with Amazon SQS.
• Knowledge of MongoDB and MySQL.
• Understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
