Onsite backend developer (12-month contract) in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, designing, coding, testing, and tuning .NET applications for a banking industry project. Day-to-day work centers on building and maintaining APIs, SQL database programming, and deploying to on-premise or cloud servers.
Responsibilities
- Design, code, test and manage various applications
- Collaborate with engineering team and product team to establish best products
- Follow outlined standards of quality related to code and systems
- Develop automated tests and conduct performance tuning
Qualifications
- Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Backend Developer using .Net.
- Strong understanding of database programming and SQL, including query optimization and security best practices.
- Experience building and maintaining APIs (business logic, data access layer, authentication & authorization).
- Strong knowledge of web application architecture (client-server, synchronous/asynchronous communication).
- Understanding of monolithic and microservices architecture, including deployment and communication flow.
- Experience in deploying applications to on-premise or cloud servers.
- Proficient in .NET (mandatory) and familiar with backend development concepts.
- Experience with at least one database: SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MariaDB.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Willing to learn new technologies.
- Willing to work onsite in Yogyakarta office branch.
- Contract based of 12 months (there will be performance review for extending contract).
- Willing to work in Banking industry project.
