As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend applications, databases, and business services that power a large-scale digital marketplace. You will collaborate closely with frontend developers, product teams, and other stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions. The successful candidate will leverage Java development expertise and Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles to create maintainable and efficient systems. You will also participate in testing, debugging, performance optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure the platform remains reliable and responsive as it grows.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance backend services and business logic using Java.
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance application architectures.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs for frontend applications and third-party integrations.
- Develop and optimize database structures, queries, and data access layers.
- Apply Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles to complex business requirements.
- Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis for application issues.
