Backend Nodejs Developer

We are looking for a candidate for the position of Backend Node.js Developer for a team developing 2D/3D games for web and mobile platforms. We have 155+ titles translated into over a dozen languages, 8 billion rounds played and clients from all over the world. We use our own engine and we care about the quality of the code. Join our team and lets create together a new quality in the global gaming market! :) What you will do Work with senior member of your team to understand functional and technical requirements Develop new or extend existing platform services or shared libraries Maintain a high quality of codebase by covering your code with automated tests Participate in the deployment and maintenance of the platform Participate in and learn from code reviews Work in an agile teaming environment In short: learn a lot and have tons of fun doing it! What we expect from you 5+ years of experience in development for the NodeJS platform, preferably using TypeScript Proven track record of building and integrating REST APIs using Express.js/Fastify/axios/fetch Practical knowledge of effectively covering complex and distributed functionalities with automated tests in Jest Experience in building complex solutions using the MongoDB database Cloud development experience using leading cloud providers, preferably GCP Good, practical knowledge of Linux OS and system monitoring/debugging tools Practical experience with the Git version control system Knowledge of Software Design Patterns and functional programming Troubleshooting and complex problem-solving skills Effective verbal and written English communication skills What will help you excel Academic degree in computer science, electrical engineering or similar qualification Practical knowledge of frontend development using React Familiarity with Jenkins Pipeline or similar CI/CD tools Experience in working with Product Family (Jira, Confluence) Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) Intense curiosity, willingness to question and passion for making systems better Strong customer focus, assertiveness, organisation and attention to detail Ability to work in a distributed team environment, collaborate well, and guide junior engineers What do we have for you Employment: B2B Rate: 18 000-22 000 pln net/month+vat Workplace: fully remote or from our office in the centre of Łódź Rich benefits package such as: sports card, life insurance, private medical care + up to 26 paid days of absence, team-building activities... and much more! :) Flexible working hours Working in a close-knit, international, ambitious team that inspires strongly! :) An interesting job in a company focused on innovative solutions and modern technologies
