Key Responsibilities
- Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic
beverages to customers at the bar or in a dining area.
· Take orders from customers and make recommendations based on customer preferences.
· Check identification of customers to ensure they meet the legal drinking age requirements.
· Maintain accurate records of sales and inventory.
· Clean and maintain the bar area, including glasses, utensils, and equipment.
· Monitor the bar’s stock levels and order supplies as needed.
· Comply with all liquor regulations.
· Ensure that the bar area is in compliance with all health and safety regulations.
· Handle payments from customers, including cash, credit cards, and mobile payments.
· Provide excellent customer service, including answering questions about menu items, making recommendations, and handling complaints or issues in a professional manner.
· Create and maintain a positive atmosphere at the bar, including engaging with customers and creating a welcoming environment.
· Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.
