St. Kieran Catholic School is seeking a dependable, caring, and responsible individual to supervise students participating in our Before School Program. This position plays an important role in providing a safe, welcoming, and nurturing environment where students begin each school day with care and consistency. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, demonstrates strong supervisory skills, and supports the mission and values of Catholic education.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome students each morning with warmth and professionalism.
- Supervise students in the school hall from 7:00 a.m. until the start of the school day.
- Maintain a safe, orderly, and positive environment.
- Ensure students follow school expectations and behavior guidelines.
- Monitor student arrival and attendance as directed.
- Facilitate quiet activities such as reading, homework, games, or other appropriate morning activities.
- Communicate any concerns regarding student behavior, health, or safety to the principal or designated staff.
- Ensure the hall is clean and organized before students transition to class.
- Follow all diocesan and school safety policies and procedures.
