Through expanded learning programs, Arc provides academic support, enrichment activities, leadership development, recreation, and youth development opportunities for students throughout Southern California.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Inclusion Aide supports students with diverse learning, behavioral, social-emotional, and developmental needs within Arc's expanded learning programs. Working closely with Site Coordinators and Program Leaders, the Inclusion Aide helps ensure students are fully included in program activities and receive the support necessary to participate successfully in a safe, engaging, and welcoming environment.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Support students in participating successfully in daily program activities.

Provide individualized support and encouragement to students as needed.

Assist students with homework completion and supplemental learning activities.

Promote positive student behavior and engagement using age-appropriate support strategies.

Support student safety through active supervision and line-of-sight monitoring.

Assist with attendance tracking, student transitions, and parent/guardian release procedures.

Collaborate with program staff, school personnel, and families to support student success.

Participate in recreational, enrichment, leadership, arts, STEM, and physical activities.

Follow all Arc policies, safety procedures, and mandated reporting requirements.

When assigned, trained, and authorized, provide respectful assistance with a student’s individualized health, hygiene, or toileting support needs, following the student’s approved plan and applicable school, district, and Arc policies.
