BGCVP: Youth Development Professional
Summary
Oversee daily youth programs, mentor members, and ensure safety and growth in a community center setting.
Job Purpose:
- Maintain close, daily contact with Club staff (professional and volunteer), Club members, and supervisor to receive/provide information, discuss issues, explain or interpret guidelines/instructions; instruct, and advise/counsel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee a range of programs and day-to-day activities.
- Establish program objectives consistent with organizational goals, standards, and mission.
- Encourage member participation in program activities and offer constructive feedback.
- Demonstrate leadership to assure conduct, safety, and growth of members.
