Reporting to the Senior Platform Engineer, you'll be a hands-on contributor to Costa's Data & AI platforms. This role combines solid technical ability, a collaborative mindset, and a genuine passion for building reliable, scalable solutions — helping to deliver on the platform vision and supporting the team's technical goals.

What you'll do
Being a Platform Engineer is about so much more than bringing our coffee to the world. It's your chance to stir up real success — which means you'll:
Contribute to the development, maintenance, and optimisation of Costa's key Data & AI platforms, working within the direction set by the Senior Platform Engineer
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including the Data Platform Team, Integrations Team, and the Product Division to deliver high-quality technology solutions
Support the management of the technical backlog, picking up well-defined tasks and contributing to the refinement of upcoming work
Help ensure the long-term robustness, security, and reliability of our platforms by following and contributing to established engineering standards
Work closely with your team to build scalable, production-grade solutions that align with Costa's platform strategy
Who you are
It's your unique ingredients we're interested in:
Solid understanding of platform and cloud engineering principles, with a willingness to grow your technical skills in a structured team environment
Experience working with Azure Cloud, Azure DevOps, Web Services, and Databases
Ability to communicate clearly within a development team and contribute constructively to technical discussions
Comfortable working in an agile environment, picking up backlog items and collaborating towards shared goals
Experience with AI & ML workloads is a plus; familiarity with Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, or Databricks is considered an advantage
Base Salary: 34,976 - 48,092 EUR
Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, experience and skills.
Location – Sofia – Hybrid The role operates on a hybrid model with the expectation of being in the Sofia office 2–3 days per week as required. Some international travel may also be required on up to a quarterly basis.
