Summary
Designs, builds, and maintains Qlik Sense dashboards and BI applications as a core member of the Data Engineering team, engineering data pipelines and models from Snowflake and SQL Server. Hybrid, full-time role based in BGC, Taguig City.

About the role
The BI Data Engineer will be a core member of the Data Engineering team, responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust analytical solutions and interactive dashboards that empower business users with actionable insights. This role bridges the gap between raw data infrastructure and business intelligence. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in data modeling, advanced SQL, and data transformation, alongside hands-on expertise in Qlik Sense development. Excellent communication skills are essential to collaborate effectively with data engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders across multiple business domains.
Key responsibilities
Develop Analytics Solutions: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Qlik Sense dashboards and business intelligence applications to support enterprise reporting needs.
Engineer Data Pipelines: Collaborate with the data engineering team to source, transform, and model data from Snowflake, SQL Server, and other modern cloud data platforms.
Optimize Data Models: Build and tune efficient data models and business intelligence applications for performance, scalability, security, and usability.
Implement Advanced Visualizations: Translate complex business requirements and KPIs into intuitive dashboards, interactive charts, and data storyboards aligned with UX/UI best practices.
Manage Stakeholder Relationships: Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, define metrics, and translate business needs into technical designs.
Ensure Quality & Testing: Conduct robust unit testing, data validation, and comprehensive documentation of business logic, transformations, and dashboard metrics.
Enforce Data Governance: Ensure all analytical assets strictly adhere to data governance, security, and data quality standards.
Own CI/CD & Deployments: Support ongoing platform enhancements, troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, and deploy updates seamlessly through established CI/CD pipelines.
Drive Strategic Alignment: Partner with the Data Analytics and Insights team to ensure data structures and reporting outputs directly support strategic decision-making.
About you
4–7 years of proven experience in BI engineering, data modeling, and full-lifecycle dashboard development with a heavy focus on Qlik Sense.
Strong SQL skills and deep experience integrating, querying, and transforming data from structured sources like Snowflake and SQL Server.
Hands-on experience with Qlik data load scripting, security configurations, and multi-tier application deployment.
Solid understanding of modern data warehousing concepts, relational database design, and cloud data architecture.
Experience working successfully within Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical users.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
