The Role
As a Bilingual Recovery Associate, you'll serve as a subject matter expert within our Retention & Collections Organization responsible for retaining customers and collecting any outstanding balance.
Shift: Monday-Friday,10:00am-7:00pm Central Time (CST)
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Answer inbound calls and text messages assisting customers to remain in compliance
- Contact customers via outbound calls, text messages and/or email to assist with retention and collection efforts
- Follow up on all promise to pays, payment plans and settlements in a timely manner
- Plan, organize and prioritize daily work to meet deadlines
- Adhere to department guidelines and goals to ensure KPIs are met
- Special Projects and all other duties as directed by management
What You'll Bring to the Table:
- Fluency in both English and Spanish, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages
- 2+ years' experience in a Customer Service, Collections or Sales role strongly preferred
- Associate degree or equivalent work experience
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify the problem, analyze possible solutions and decide on the best course of action
- Strong listening skills to understand the needs of the customers and find a way to achieve account resolution
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, call center environment
- Highly motivated to meet department goals
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
