BIM Manager

Primary Responsibilities (what are the main objectives of the role)
  • To design the Revit/ BIM delivery system for Edifice
  • To create content
  • To ensure organization-wide transition into Revit/ implementation of BIM and related technology
  • To ensure efficiencies

Role Description -– Roles to be performed to fulfill the above responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Stipulating the coordination and delivery process for projects in Revit.
  • Create Revit drawing, modelling and printing standards and standard templates
  • Identify and formalize Specifics of stage wise Deliverables from Consultants and Vendors and standards for the same
  • Create Families of architectural and interior elements common across verticals to the greatest extent, and Vertical specific families where required
  • Study the design documentation process and introduce elements and scripting to the greatest possible extent to eliminate repetitive tasks and render them error free.
  • Ensure BIM implementation across verticals including identification of suitable projects to start with, impart awareness session on company BIM standards, help create BEP, handhold, supervise as may be required.
  • Auditing of ongoing project for adherence to BIM standards and efficiency.
  • Estimation of the ideal resourcing to be deployed into a mainstream project in each vertical based.
  • Continually assess BIM capabilities role-wise, and structure, render and subsequently oversee training of the studio team to Revit/ BIM
  • Research/ Identify, implement new technologies and processes to ensure relevance and efficiency from time to time.
