Biomedical Equipment Support Specialist
This position serves as the Biomedical Equipment Support Specialist within the Division of Facilities Management of the Office of Environmental Health and Engineering (OEH&E). This position is located at the Albuquerque Area Office in Albuquerque, NM. The purpose of this position is to maintain, repair, calibrate, and manage biomedical equipment that supports safe, reliable, and effective patient care. Installs, inspects, troubleshoots, repairs, calibrates, and tests biomedical equipment. Performs preventive maintenance to ensure medical equipment is safe, reliable, compliant, and available for patient care. Manages the biomedical equipment program, including equipment inventories and maintenance records. Performs equipment evaluations and ensures compliance with applicable regulatory requirements. Provides user training and coordinates biomedical equipment services with clinical staff and vendors.
