Do you enjoy troubleshooting equipment, solving mechanical challenges, and seeing the results of a job well done? High Desert Bobcat- Twin Falls is looking for a dependable Diesel Equipment Service Technician to help keep our customers' construction and rental equipment operating at its best.

In this hands-on role, you'll work with a variety of diesel-powered machines and equipment, using your technical knowledge to identify problems, complete repairs, and help minimize equipment downtime. We're looking for someone who takes ownership of their work, prioritizes safety, and enjoys working alongside a team that takes pride in doing things right.

Key Responsibilities

As a member of our service department, you'll help ensure equipment is reliable, safe, and ready for the job site. Your day-to-day work will include:

• Troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engine problems.

• Repairing and replacing components such as engines, fuel systems, hydraulic pumps, motors, valves, final drives, and electrical systems.

• Conducting routine maintenance, equipment inspections, and intake evaluations.

• Completing pre-delivery checks to verify equipment is ready for customer use.

• Recording diagnostic findings, repairs performed, parts used, and labor hours accurately in work orders.

• Using diagnostic equipment and manufacturer service resources to identify issues and determine appropriate repairs.

• Performing repairs according to manufacturer recommendations and company quality expectations.

• Keeping tools, work areas, and equipment clean, organized, and safe.

• Communicating professionally with customers and coworkers regarding equipment service needs.

• Coordinating with the service team to complete repairs efficiently and return equipment to service promptly.

• Supporting other service department activities as needed.
